Work With Us – Qualified Practitioners

Peace and Minds Counselling is a growing UK counselling service offering online and telephone therapy to adults nationwide, and is based in Hertfordshire. As the service develops, we are seeking to work with qualified counsellors who value ethical practice, professional autonomy, and sustainable workloads.

This is a flexible opportunity for practitioners who wish to offer high-quality counselling within a supportive, values-led service.

  • We welcome expressions of interest from counsellors who:

    • Are qualified to Level 4 or above in counselling or psychotherapy

    • Are registered with BACP, NCPS, or an equivalent UK professional body (or working towards registration)

    • Are comfortable working online and/or by telephone

    • Work ethically, reflectively, and within professional boundaries

    • Hold appropriate professional indemnity insurance and supervision arrangements

Experience across a range of presenting issues is welcomed, though this does not need to be specialist-led.

    • Providing 50-minute counselling sessions to adult clients

    • Working remotely using secure, GDPR-compliant systems

    • Maintaining concise and ethical clinical records

    • Managing your own availability within agreed parameters

    • Engaging in regular supervision in line with professional requirements

This role is suited to counsellors seeking flexible hours alongside other commitments.

    • A calm, ethical working culture that values support

    • Administrative and booking systems already in place and training provided

    • No expectation of high-volume or pressured caseloads

    • Clear boundaries around availability and capacity

    • Opportunities to contribute to future projects (optional)

The focus is on quality, sustainability, and respectful working relationships.
